The outcome of his extensive reading and travel is a book that focuses on places that acknowledge or even encourage sex. But Williams’ itinerary isn’t what you’d expect: there are no brothels, bathhouses or no-tell motels here. Instead, he looks at a range of design projects, from iconic landmarks by famous architects to the “orgasmatron” in Woody Allen’s 1973 film Sleeper.
