My father mentioned something about this to me, but didn't have all of the details. I know that I was pretty happy to just talk to my landlord this week when I couldn't get the toilet to stop running. The only trouble is that renters are not able to take part in federal tax breaks, which is a notable financial burden. I suppose it's not enough to chip away at overall happiness though.
