In my opinion, so much attention has been paid and resources allocated to protecting homeowners that renters, often those in most need of assistance, have fallen between the cracks. Section 8 programs have proven to be successful in deconcentrating poverty and providing for the essential needs of millions of people. Renters have little political clout, but have the most dire needs.</description>
