Talk about mixed feelings. I find this undeniably cool, but as a blogger who covers the trials and tribulations of Flint, Michigan, and the Rust Belt, this just seems wrong to me somehow.

Exactly my sentiments too, Geewhy. I’ve lived in Mumbai so sometimes I do feel strongly about poverty tourism although I know at heart, the tourists mean no harm and may actually be of some help to slum dwellers.
